Great buildings, architecture, historical sights and interesting neighborhoods.
City is very busy, nice atmosphere, but a bit dirty.
Lots of food and bar choices, but lacking authenticity from previous years. Possibly away from the tourist area, it could be more authentic and true culture,

Five days in Madrid for the first time and could have used another couple of days to do everything first timers would like to do in the city. Very impressed by how clean and well maintained the city is. Very easy to get around - we walked everywhere. Did a small group tapas tour which I highly recommend to get a feel of the tapas scene and the city. Food scene in Madrid is great overall. Also highly recommend getting early access tour to the Prado museum and any other place you can get an early access tour - they let a small number of people in before the general public so that you can view the displays without fighting the crowd.

Madrid is perfect city a lot of culture and history in it.
Madrid is perfect city a lot of culture and history in it. Yes it is a bit overcrowded a bit, but it has the parks teh museums the transport to just go and enjoy it, and whilst it is overcrowded the major tourist traps ar not there at least not visible, the prices of food and museums are decent and you can spend a week or more not feeling cashed stripped and having to do something every day.

Madrid was great for walking around and our hotel was located centrally to most of the city based land marks like the palace, Cathedral, Museums, markets, great restaurants, Flamenco shows, historical buildings and other note worthy establishments. The May weather was mild and great for walking around.

The hotel had modern style. overall it was very clean. the room was big and spacious. The receptionist was super friendly and helpful. she answered all of our questions and demands. we requested for early check in and they made their best to do it. there is also complimentary shuttle service to and from the airport. even though the hotel is far from the city centre it is close to the metro station and the airport.
There was only one good thing about this hotel and that was leaving on the bus to the airport. It is provided free of charge. However there is no metro stop near the hotel at all so getting there was a problem and cost 12 euros in a taxi. It is only 6 euros for 10 journeys in Madrid on metro that goes straight to airport so it’s actually cheaper to stay nearer city centre
The room was very spacious and had plenty of everything we needed. The hotel was close enough to the city centre it would've been nice had madrid been busy like it would be in the summer. Staff were mostly helpful and would go the extra mile to help out. My mum travelled with us and she stayed on her own, but felt safe and comfortable throughout our stay.
The location was excellent, offering quick access to the metro compared to other hotels near the airport. Some alternatives required taking a bus, making the journey to the city centre longer. Despite the minor inconveniences, I would definitely stay at this hotel again if I visit Madrid in the future.
We went to Madrid for a music festival and the location of the hotel was great for that. One bus about 30-40min to the city centre. Clean, tidy and very comfortable.
